United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land. The constitution was put in place to divide the power in the country; create laws and carry them out. Laws are made so that the citizens of the United States act reasonable as well as to limit violations and prevent chaos. In the constitution you will find the Bill of Rights, which are the first 10 amendments which are set to limit the powers of the government while protecting the rights of all citizens, residents, and visitor to United States territory. Within the Bill of Rights lies the First Amendment which states that it prohibits federal legislature form making “respecting establishment of religion”, prohibits free exercise of religion or that would infringes on freedom of the press, the right to peaceful assembly, but perhaps the most common right linked with the first amendment is freedom of speech.
