Ensuring Quality for the Future
The cleanliness of our water has crossed all our minds at one time or another. An example is when you get a glass of water from the tap only to find that there are particles floating in the glass. This makes you wonder just how clean it really is.
You may not think the problem is that serious due to bottled water, but bottled water is actually not much cleaner than tap water. About 1% of the world’s water is drinkable and has been drinkable since the beginning of time (Consumer’s). During that time, lots of contaminates, both chemical and human waste, has taken their toll on the quality of the water. Since 1996, Ardmore’s water supply has been in violation, according to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency E .P .A.), due to coli form, bacteria whose presence indicates that the water supply may be contaminated with human or animal waste, the rust in the piping (Drinking Water Contaminants). ......
