The illegal immigration has been one of the biggest problems in the United States since the 1920´s. On 1941’s, the United States found itself entering a war, most American men were sent to combat and the number of job vacancies that existed in manufacturing and agriculture sectors increased dramatically; the U.S. government took action to solve this problem, so President Roosevelt and Mexican President Avila Camacho in the 1940’s made a negotiation over a guest worker program known as the Bracero Program, this program was the first that migration had been encouraged by the United States, the program consisted of permitting migration of Mexicans into the United States under contracts in order to relieve needing sectors.
