Canada and How it Evolved Since the End of WW2 - Essay and Term Paper

Canada had begun a new era after World War 2. It was the era of making peace, not war. The United Nations was born and Canada was one of the fifty nations that took part in this party. After World War 2, new wars emerged that Canada took part in. A few of the mission will be discussed. The Suez Crisis is one of them. The outbreak of the war began November of 1956 and ended June of 1957. It was the mission that gave Canada the opportunity to see what it’s like to do a peacekeeping mission. The War of Cyprus was another mission. This war began in 1963 and there is still some troops there trying to keep the peace permanent. This mission was the most expensive mission for Canada. The last mission that will be discussed is Operation “Restore Hope”. It began December of 1992 and ended March of 1993.
