Opposing Gay Marriage
After gay marriage, what will become of marriage itself? Marriage is between a man and a woman from the foundation of civilization in which the universe came to accept this belief. As quoted in the Bible in Genesis 29:17-28, “marriage shall consist of a union between one man and one or more women.” In my opinion, I am against gay marriage because I believe it is wrong and is a sin in the eyes of God. Allowing gay marriage to be legal will have an enormous affect on things. It would be against most religions, affect the population of the world, and would also break tradition and the purpose of life.
To change the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples would destroy its capacity to function. It would no longer opposite-sex pair-bonding meant to be because of God himself.
